Youtube Video Widget

This widget is used to show a youtube video.

Configuration

Go to Settings > FrontPage Buddy > Widgets and configure this widget.

Enable for...

Enable this widget for one or more of available integrations.

Edit front-page screens

This is what your users will see when they add this widget on frontpage-edit screens.

Heading: This is optional. If a value is entered for this field, it is rendered as an <h2> tag when viewing the front page.

Video url: Url of the youtube video. All standard url types are supported.

Output

If the 'Heading' was provided, it is output as an <h2> tag.

A youtube player for the provide video is displayed.

Use of third party services

Purpose: Youtube player is loaded in an iframe and uses a third party service.

Data Usage: Embedding videos through YouTube iFrame does not involve sending or storing personal user data. However, when a video is played, YouTube may collect data as per their policies.

Privacy Note: Please note that YouTube may collect information such as IP addresses and viewing activity when videos are played. For more details, refer to YouTube's Privacy Policy ^outbound.
